About Us
Who we are and how we got here.
What we stand for
Serious Training
We train with purpose. Technique, discipline and getting better matter, whatever your level.
Open Door
Come as you are. Whatever your background or experience, there is a place for you on the mats.
Mutual Respect
Respect for the art, our coaches, our training partners and ourselves. We learn from each other and build each other up.
Sabai Sabai
Remember to stay relaxed and have fun. That is when the learning comes easiest.
How we got here
A gym for anyone
One Love Muay Thai is a gym for anyone. Some people walk in having never thrown a punch. Others have been training for years. The training is serious either way, and the door is open either way. Whatever you turn up with on the day, you bring it to the mats, and we build each other up, strike by strike.
Muay Thai only looks like an individual sport
From the outside it looks like you, the pads and the bag. In practice it runs on training partners. The person holding pads for you is the same person you hold pads for. Come a few weeks in a row and the people around you stop being strangers you share a room with. They become the people who notice when you're not there.
What you take home
Training gives you somewhere to put your energy, and you get something back that's yours. Discipline. Respect. Power. Control. Technique. Rhythm.
Most people come in wanting to get fitter or learn to fight. What they notice first is that they stand differently. They walk home taller, more aware of the room, harder to rattle. We train hard, we learn from each other, and we push each other to get better.
Meet the founders
Head coach & co-founder
Vaughn
He brings the warmth of his Caribbean roots to an approach built on years of training, fighting and coaching Muay Thai. If you've trained with Vaughn you'll know he's just as excited to see you land your first clean punch as he is to corner you in your first fight.
Co-founder
Natalia
She found Muay Thai the way a lot of our members will, by walking into a class with Vaughn and not being at all sure she belonged there. One class was enough to settle that. What started there became One Love, built on a shared belief that you can take Muay Thai seriously without taking yourself too seriously.
Welcome to One Love Muay Thai. See you on the mats.
